Wilhelm-Staab-Straße
Back to tour
Wilhelm-Staab-Straße, a street which ran from the city canal north to Charlottenstraße, was called Hoditzstraße and was named after one of Frederick's valets who lived and died here in 1776. It once was one of the most splendid residential streets in Potsdam. Even now, the restored facades, spatially and stylistically, offer an impressive image of a complete baroque ensemble.
